Change the folder you scan
The Current Scan Folder bar shows your chosen folder and path. Click Change Folder, choose a new location, then click Open to start a fresh scan.
Clean duplicate copies together
Find Exact Duplicates, choose a keep rule, then use Clean All Extras. Review the names and locations before moving the extra copies to Trash.
Restore a file
Open Trash in Finder, select the file and choose Put Back. DiskCalm never permanently empties Trash. Recovery is available while the file remains in Trash.
Why are some files skipped?
macOS permissions, protected locations, symbolic links, package contents or cloud-only status may prevent access or cleanup. Scan Details shows skipped items. Applications can be inspected while their protected contents remain excluded from cleanup.
Space estimates
Logical file size, allocated size and reclaimed space can differ. Moving files to Trash does not immediately reclaim disk space.
Privacy and settings
OCR runs locally and its results remain in memory. Settings lets you forget folder access and clear local cleanup history. See the privacy policy.
